Hey you. Welcome to my page. My name is Rochelle Johnson Wiggins I am the
Founder, CEO, Writer, and Producer of We Shall Productions Entertainment. Let me take a few minutes to share my story and the goal of this ministry.
My mission in life has been to evangelize through theatrical drama presentations. I gave my life to Jesus Christs when I was a child growing up in Chicago, Illinois.
At 13 years old, the youth pastor of the Revival Center COGIC Church asked me to stand and pray before the congregation of a youth conference. The prayer ushered in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The congregation was amazed that God would use someone so young to display His power and anointing. God used that prayer to attract the attention of Dr. J. T. Watson, youth Vice President of COGIC. He immediately recognized that God had a calling on my life. While traveling with the COGIC Sunshine Band Youth Ministry, “Big Sister” Jean Spates Johnson, gave me a last minute opportunity to showcase my talent for creating skits. I had 45 minutes to create a skit, assign lines and rehearse them. There is no way I could have done that without God. He showed up and He showed out!
The skit entitled “Sunday School, Sunday School Yuk”, received a standing ovation. I was acknowledged as the creator of the skit. That was the beginning of my journey to use theater to change lives. Through-out this journey, God has allowed me to receive many awards, such as the ones received for my performance of Mary in the monologue, “The Mother of Jesus." I have also received recognition for my work with the “Elgin summer youth program. I received awards for the Dr. Martin Luther King Youth Program,” recognized as “Miss Sunday School,” “Outstanding Young Woman of America” and crowned “Miss Christian World of Chicago, Illinois.” I am grateful to God, my Church and the Community for all the opportunities that were given to me. My platform to minister includes radio, television, and all social media outlets. As of today, I have 42 years of experience evangelizing through different areas of the performing arts.
In 2022, I partnered with the Justin L. Davis Foundation, to put on a stage production entitled, “Black Light Shining in The Darkness,” done at the Wortham Center Theater in Downtown Houston, Texas. I was casted in the role of a mom, who toiled over a trouble son. The play was written and produced by Dr. Denise Wilkins.
As a community philanthropist, I partnered with the “Roy's Safe Haven Homeless Initiative,” to feed the homeless. We distributed food and toys to needy families during Christmas. I also volunteered as an actress with The Church Without Walls’ arts and drama ministry, under the tutelage of Ann Pettaway LeSear. Last but not least, I wrote, directed and produced skits through the Rehoboth Ministry, under Bishop Josephine Smith.
I would like to give God all the praises and honor for His gifts, talents and salvation that came from Heaven above! I would like to give a shout-out to my amazing husband Ricky Wiggins who been by my side and supported me through the many years of ministry. Bless my children, god-children, all my friends, family and church families, Spates Temple COGIC Elgin Il and The Church Without Walls Houston . They helped to make these projects successful. I would also like to thank all of my cast members from many, many years ago, who stuck by me even through the lean years.
